Satisfy Your Appetite for Luxury and Adventure
While cruises aren’t usually associated with adventure, Royal Caribbean has come up with a new solution, Azamara Cruises. Billed as “deluxe” (a notch below luxury lines), Azamara emphasizes less traveled destinations and more offbeat excursions. Caribbean ports include San Andres Island, Mayaguez, Cabrits (Dominica) and San Juan del Sur (Nicaragua). In Europe, they’ll call on Corsica and Ravenna and visit events including the Cannes Film Festival and Rio’s Carnival. Every stateroom has butler service, flexible dining, two restaurants, wine bar, and spa services. Provided that the quality of the service levels and cabin appointments are there, sounds like it could be a winning combo.
