Vampires, again. Really?
You bet. In case you haven’t noticed, the interest in vampirism has exploded. Media news and Nielsen online have reported the demographics for the growing trend toward vampiric entertainment. According to their reports: “There has been increasing mainstream interest in and gravitation towards all things vampire, most recently spurred by the Twilight books/movies and the HBO series, TrueBlood. And even if these aren’t familiar topics to you yet, marketers are keen to the vampire mystique.”
As all good hotel marketers do – they tie into pop culture trends wherever possible, and even the hotel sector has caught on. The Soho Boutique Hotel is one of Budapest’s most unique, in design, philosophy, and size and now, in celebration of the show “Dance of the Vampires”, they’ve unveiled two Vampire Suites inspired by the two main characters – Krolock and Herbert – of the show. This means that you get to sleep in a magnificent, Dracula-esque baroque style room with eclectic velvet furniture, uniquely crafted antique chandeliers, sleek floors, and shocking colors. They’ll even be sure to greet you with a Vampire Juice cocktail upon arrival.
