What Family Friendly Really Means
It is a trend that stems from a marketplace desire to be inclusive without really being too, too inclusive. After all, few would disagree that U.S. travelers with families look to vacations to be quality time spent together. Still, most of the parents say they want adult break time built into their getaway. But even families with multiple kids do not really want to vacation in a resort that seems to be overrun with wee ones.
Research on the matter is hard to come by, but there is little doubt that affluent travelers would be the first to complain about “OPC” – other people’s children
