Paris Hilton to open her own hotels

The socialite – whose great-grandfather Conrad Hilton, founder of Hilton Hotels - says she is ready to follow in the footsteps of her family as she believes she needs a new challenge in her career. We’ve already seen her become a reality TV star, a singer, have her own fragrances, a clothing line and appear in movies, and apparently she is now ready to try her hand at being a hotelier.

She is quoted by FOXNews.com as saying: “I’ve pretty much done all you can do, but my next project that I’d like to do is get more involved in real estate – just from being in the business and growing up in it my whole life, it’s always something I’ve been interested in. “And right now that I’ve done everything I’ve wanted to do, that would definitely be the next step, to open my own hotels.

As well as getting advice about the industry from her family, Paris could also turn to her reported new boyfriend Cy Waits – Las Vegas nightclub mogul. No word yet if the heiress has grandfather Conrad Hilton’s permission to use the famous family name… Let’s hope this goes better than her sister, Nicky Hilton’ venture into the hotel business, with her legal woes over a breach of contract for delayed hotel renovations of the now infamous Nicky O Hotels in Chicago and Miami.
